SNAPPIN' IN THE STREET: IN MEMORY OF

Inspired by The Sartorialist's "Vintage Photos" ,  I honor Elsie Mae Dockery, who recently passed away. She is the mother & best friend to my friend Tim.  There's something to be said about the elegance women held back in the day.  Here, Elsie is strolling along Harlem on what seems to be an ordinary day, yet her overall style is very much classy and demure.  A simple white dress that hits below the knee along with dainty white gloves tucked behind the clutch she holds in her hand.  A short bouffant allows her bauble stud earrings and draped necklace to pull her look altogether.  Thanks Elsie Mae for getting Snapped4Style!
