TREND ALERT! TRON THE LEGACY in FASHION
Aside from concept and special effects, the costumes in TRON: THE LEGACY were equally amazing! Costume Designer Michael Wilkinson and Co-Costume Designer Christine Bieselin Clark are the masterminds behind the illuminated superhero and skin tight biker inspired suits. Inspiration came from movies like Blade Runner, Resident Evil and the original Tron to set the tone.
The movie as a whole will have a tremendous effect in fashion on so many levels that it would take pages and pages to explain how. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see the interpretation taken by designers ...see slideshow below for some basic upcoming trends..and of course go see the movie!

I heart all things ethnic especially with splashes of vibrant colors.

It's shimmer reveals a metallic teal green with a pearly finish. DISCO DERBY FASHION FUN INFERNO!
New York City really has it all! It's no wonder we're known as one of the top party cities in the world ...and where there's a good party there's good fashion! Down & Derby Roller Disco is back, and held it's first event here in NYC on Friday, December 3rd at Good Units. Not only do I plan to make a whirl around this rink, but this is my new go to trend-setting arena! Enjoy the pics....
