SNAPPIN' IN THE STREET: LEADER OF THE PACK

I saw this girl walking with a group of girls & her orange neon tube top drew my attention to the rest of her fashion masterpiece.  This is what I call "THE TOTAL PACKAGE".  Fashion is all over NYC, however every now and then you stumble across a fashion street icon...someone that comes all together from H to T, meaning makeup, nails, accessories, just everything.  My only mistake was not getting a pic of her glittery eyeshadow and her red nails with colorful confetti.  She doesn't "get" fashion she is fashion.  Thank you for getting Snapped4Style! SNAPPIN' IN THE STREET

Everywhere, around the world there'll be "Snappin In The Street".  Hi Guys, this is usually my "Snapped in the Street" segment, but I kinda like the tune of "Dancin in the Street" so I'm trying this name on for size.


If it's bold and vibrant I like it!  Love the mix of bright retro colors in a mosaic print and how she added layers, yet kept it refreshing for Spring/Summer with cropped leggings and and no socks...well that we can see!  Add some cool shades, eclectic jewelry & hair in a soft bun, Ta-Da you have Ethnic/Boho Chic.  Thanks for getting Snapped4Style!

TREND ALERT! THE BIGGER THE BETTER

I have blogged about it before & I'm still fascinated and obsessed with The Basketball Wives Ear Candy. This season they are Bigger and Better ! As soon as more episode pics of Season 3 get out there, I will update this story with my faves for instance Suzie's long, ovesized feather earring, Jennifer's pink beaded chandeliers, & OH MY FASHION GOD Evelyn's beautiful Butterfly statement earrings.  See pics on left.. sold on the "Dulce" website. You'd think I'd be able to find these ear teasers in NYC, but nothing yet. Come on NYC Miami has one up on us...let's get with it! I saw this girl from a mile a way. Her nautical blazer caught my eye, I love how she made this Jet Set style look polished, yet casual enough to hangout out on the corner in NYC on a soon to be Summer day.  Thanks for getting Snapped4Style!

Mint green nailpoish is still a strong trend from Chanel's F/W 2009 runway.  My favorite right now is O.P.I. "Mermaid Tears" from The Pirates of The Caribbean Collection...and not only are there so many cool colors out there..now it's so fun to mix and match.

TREND SETTERS: FOREVER ICONS

Forever 21, has had their finger on the pulse since they set up shop in believe it or not 1984.  You gotta give it to this retailer, yes yes I know they're known for "ripping off" designs and copying, but I will say this, Forever 21 is so in tuned with what's going on that they themselves create trends & are very good at reviving old ones before the runway does.  Here are some tees in-store & online now that I found interesting...they also have a great one of Marilyn Monroe, but the online image did it no justice, however I saw it in person & it's a must or bust!  Love how they just figured...what the heck..let's throw a vintage image on some stripes while we're at it.
